چکیده

A Peer-to-Peer (P2P) network is a dynamic collection of nodes that connect with each other via virtual overlay links built upon an underlying (usually, the Internet). P2P networks are highly and can experience very heavy churn, i.e., large number join/leave continuously. Thus, building maintaining stable important problem has been studied extensively for two decades. In this paper, we present our called Sparse Robust Addressable Network (Spartan). Spartan be quickly efficiently in fully distributed fashion within O(logn) rounds. Furthermore, structure maintained, again, manner despite adversarially controlled churn (i.e., joining leaving) significant variation nodes. Moreover, new join committee O(1) rounds leaving leave without any notice. The lies [n,fn] fixed f≥1. Up to ϵn (for some small but ϵ>0) added/deleted period P P∈O(loglogn). Despite such uncertainty network, maintains Θ(n∕logn) committees addressable collections Θ(logn) polynomial(n) high probability. Spartan’s also capable performing sustained computation passing messages between other. protocol designed static simulated on minimal overhead. This makes ideal platform developing applications. We experimentally show will remain robust as long committee, average, contains 24 size up 10240.

Associative content-addressable networks with exponentially many robust stable states

The brain must robustly store a large number of memories, corresponding to the many events and scenes a person encounters over a lifetime. However, the number of memory states in existing neural network models either grows weakly with network size or recall performance fails catastrophically with vanishingly little noise. Here we show that it is possible to construct an associative content-addr...

Robust Reconstruction of Complex Networks from Sparse Data

Reconstructing complex networks from measurable data is a fundamental problem for understanding and controlling collective dynamics of complex networked systems. However, a significant challenge arises when we attempt to decode structural information hidden in limited amounts of data accompanied by noise and in the presence of inaccessible nodes. Here, we develop a general framework for robust ...

Survey on Content Addressable Memory and Sparse Clustered Network

Most memory devices store and retrieve data by addressing specific memory locations. As a result, this path often becomes the limiting factor for systems that rely on fast memory accesses. The time required to find an item stored in memory can be reduced considerably if the item can be identified for access by its content rather than by its address. A memory that is accessed in this way is call...
